
Job description
We are looking for an experienced L2 Platform Operations Engineer to support operational activities on a MuleSoft platform environment during the Europe shift. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability, service continuity, and SLA compliance across a multi-cloud ecosystem including AWS, Azure, and OpenShift, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Govern and oversee L2 operational activities to ensure service continuity and SLA compliance.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
Perform platform analysis and operational troubleshooting.
Analyze logs and identify root causes of operational issues.
Escalate complex incidents to senior engineering teams when required.
Support daily operations and service request execution.
Participate in deployment, release, and change implementation activities.
Execute operational procedures, runbooks, and recovery activities.
Document incidents, resolutions, workarounds, and operational knowledge.
Maintain and update knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
Identify recurring issues and propose service improvements.
Contribute to root cause analysis activities.
Develop and maintain basic automation scripts for repetitive operational tasks.
Track assigned actions through completion and closure.
Lead production support meetings and operational reviews.
Support Flex Gateway platform setup activities.
Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution when required.
Deliverables
Incident reports with documented resolutions and workarounds.
Updated operational documentation and knowledge base content.
Root cause analysis outputs and improvement recommendations.
Automation scripts for operational efficiency.
Runbook execution and recovery procedure records.
Action tracking logs through completion.
Deployment, release, and change implementation records.
Job requirements
Required Expertise
3–5 years of experience in MuleSoft platform management (not API development).
Experience with MuleSoft Omni Gateway / Flex Gateway.
Terraform expertise.
OpenShift expertise.
GitHub experience.
Basic AWS knowledge.
Basic Azure knowledge.
Strong understanding of Authentication & Authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID.
ITIL process knowledge.
Argo CI/CD experience.
Nice to Have
MuleSoft Flex Gateway.
XML, XSD, WSDL, WS-*, Java, JSON.
Basic networking knowledge (Virtual IPs, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
Certificate lifecycle management.
SOAPUI and Postman.
ServiceNow.
Linux.
Qualifications
English level C1 or higher.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent background.
Experience working with internal teams and external providers in international environments.
Availability to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Availability for occasional out-of-hours support.
Willingness to travel or relocate for short periods when required.
